To celebrate one of the greatest basketball films of all time, “White Men Can’t Jump”, Wilson reached out to 20th Century Fox to collaborate on a special edition version of their flagship ball, the Evolution.

To capture the tone, a lot of patterns and artwork was explored to encapsulate the look and feel of the film, set in Los Angeles in the early 90’s.

Despite the insane amount of patterns that were seen in the movie such as Woody Harrelson’s hat and shorts, we ultimately decided to go with a recreation of the grafitti wall that appeared throughout the movie as the 2 character’s meeting place.

Piecing together frames from the movie, I meticulously recreated the epic 90’s-style graffiti wall to use as a recurring pattern in the line of products.
